T-Mobile G1 Touch To Succeed The G1
T-Mobile UK have announced that they will follow-up the popular G1 Android phone with a purely touchscreen device, the G1 Touch.
Developed by HTC and known as the HTC Hero, the T-Mobile G2 Touch will mark a turning point in the launch of Android powered devices.
The T-Mobile G1 Touch will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack (a first for an HTC Android phone), multi-touch capability, and the long awaited support for Adobe flash player (again, a first for any Android device).
The T-Mobile G1 Touch will also feature a custom user interface developed by HTC, known as HTC Sense. The HTC Sense UI will offer far improved customization for the Android home screen, including advanced widget support and information.
The T-Mobile G1 Touch is expected to launch across the T-Mobile UK network from July, and will be available free to new customers as part of a 2-year monthly contract.
